This role sits within a high-impact IT Development team dedicated to delivering software solutions that provide measurable region-wide business value.

Performance Objectives for Year One:

Architect & Deliver Scalable Solutions: Lead technical teams in the design development and delivery of logical and physical data models (Kimball methodology star/snowflake schemas) and advanced ETL pipelines that effectively utilize complex telecommunications and real estate data.
Optimize & Ensure System Health: Audit and dramatically tune existing relational databases (Oracle Exadata 19c) and complex data integration solutions to guarantee strict adherence to SLA performance metrics.
Modernize & Incubate: Champion the transition toward next-generation technologies by testing incubating and implementing modern cloud architectures (Fabric Snowflake Databricks) and Python/Spark scripting to future-proof the business.
Establish Engineering Excellence: Create document and evangelize company-wide development standards and industry best practices across all BI and data warehousing solutions.
Lead Complex Data Integrations: Architect and maintain advanced ETL processes (utilizing Oracle Data Integrator and Oracle Golden Gate) including topology administration job tuning and error handling.
