Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Mechanic to join their mining company based in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing on heavy plant equipment
- Diagnose mechanical hydraulic and basic electrical faults
- Carry out breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
- Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet operational requirements
- Assist with site work and field service activities as required
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 10 years experience working on yellow equipment and heavy plant machinery
- N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies
- Trade Test preferred
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
- Basic electrical fault-finding ability
- Experience in equipment maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Valid Drivers License
