Job Summary
The Division of Comprehensive and Preventive Cardiology within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking an outstanding BC/BE general noninvasive cardiologist to join a high-volume physician-led practice in a premier tertiary care academic medical center. A successful candidate will provide both outpatient and inpatient care contributing to a three-shield practice model that integrates clinical excellence education and scholarly activities in accordance with the Mayo Clinic Model of Care.
The expected practice profile includes a robust outpatient continuity practice in comprehensive and preventive cardiology inpatient general cardiology service coverage (typically no more than 8 weeks per year commensurate with departmental staffing) and active engagement in teaching medical students residents and cardiology fellows. Scholarly and research activities are expected and well-supported through the Departments extensive academic infrastructure. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and care teams is imperative to our practice.
Preferred: Subspecialty clinical expertise in any area of cardiovascular medicine. The position does not include CV imaging.
Qualifications
Eligible for an Arizona medical license and board certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases.
Broad clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of a wide range of cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Demonstrated dedication to medical education and scholarly activity.
