Dietary Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and certifiedDietary Manager to join our skilled nursing facility team. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan organize and manage the dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
- Supervise dietary staff including scheduling training and performance management.
- Ensure meals are prepared according to residents dietary requirements preferences and care plans.
- Maintain compliance with all state federal and local regulations including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to address residents nutritional needs and implement dietary changes as needed.
- Develop and monitor the dietary department budget and maintain cost controls.
- Oversee inventory management including ordering and storing food and supplies.
- Conduct routine audits of meal preparation service and kitchen cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents families and staff.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or similar certification is required.
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service management role preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety sanitation standards and dietary regulations in healthcare.
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents families and staff to achieve positive outcomes.
