Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accountant
Roles & Responsibilities:
Managing accounting and ensure the accuracy and timely submission of monthly and year-end management reports and analysis by reviewing submissions from subordinates
Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities; ensure that all is submitted timely.
Strong in analysis of financial numbers; and to highlight any discrepancies or issues;
Strong relevant accounting knowledge and updates of relevant Accounting Standards and company policy to ensure books are maintained in compliance and order;
Providing support with various reporting including GST treasury investment returns etc.
Providing commentaries on operational performance and support operational planning operations and implementation of financial and internal controls
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices; and this may include review of policies and continual process re-engineering.
Assist and support projects/group tasks/duties as assigned.
AFM will manage Process and Initiative and team task.
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or any related professional qualifications (ACCA/CA)
At least 5 years of relevant financial accounting/reporting/finance operations experience
Should have experience in full set of accounting and comfortable with handling multiple P&Ls
System knowledge of Netsuite or other ERP and proficient with excel
People management experience and comfortable with stakeholder engagement as an AFM
Ability to multitask and work on seasonal / ad-hoc projects
Should have experience working in mid-large complex organization structure
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Passion to work in a growing progressive social service sector
Ethical reliable independent meticulous hands on responsible and goals driven
Possess clear and effective communication skills
Have a positive and resilient attitude when faced with challenges
Meticulous and able to work independently and work well with the team
