What is the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Federal Contract Solutions (FCS) the Controlled Information Compliance Specialist is responsible for the oversight and governance of information security compliance for U.S. Federal contracts involving Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI). This role ensures the secure handling sharing and protection of federal information across AeconsU.S. programs and supplier ecosystem.
Citizenship Requirement:
This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations. As a result applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements.
WhatYoullDoHere:
- Provide subject matter expertise and oversight for compliance with U.S. Government information security requirements. No classified controls are associated with this position.
- Ensure the secure management access control and governance of federally controlled information within approved collaboration and document management environments.
- Monitor regulatory and contractual changes impacting unclassified federal information requirements and ensure compliance approaches remain current and effective.
- Partner with the Federal Contract Solutions team and crossfunctional stakeholders to align information controls with business operations project delivery and federal compliance obligations.
- Support the implementation and sustainment of information control requirements across U.S. federal construction projects programs and associated suppliers.
- Support information control and export awareness and training initiatives related to federal controlled information.
- Collaborate with Information Technology to promote information security and document control best practices for U.S. Federal Government programs including document protection enclave access and incident response support related to information spillage events.
WhatYouBring to theTeam:
- Bachelors degree in business Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience supporting information security compliance or federal contracting environments preferably within engineering construction nuclear or other regulated industries.
- Experience supporting Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects involving U.S. Government customers; nuclear or DOErelated experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert with internal teams suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance compliance requirements with operational execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical judgment and problemsolving skills with a riskbased mindset.
- Proven ability to work independently manage competing priorities and adapt in a fastpaced highly regulated environment.
- High attention to detail with the ability to assess information security programs against federal compliance expectations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
