• 3 12-hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed weekly hours
• Float Pool Assignment (PCU/IMCU Units)

Job Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join a float pool supporting cardiac-focused units. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac care experience and the ability to manage patients in step-down and telemetry environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in PCU/IMCU and telemetry units
• Manage cardiac patients including STEMI NSTEMI post-cardiothoracic surgery and chest pain cases
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips (Milrinone Dobutamine pressors)
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Float across units as required
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU or similar experience required
• Strong cardiac care experience required
• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Ability to manage multiple patient acuity levels (ratio 1:34)
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
