Job Summary:
The Program Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting operational consistency and staff development across multiple patient engagement functions. This position is responsible for training and onboarding team members including Community Health Workers (CHWs) Phone Team staff Pre-Registration and Check-In teams. The specialist works closely with leadership to ensure workflows are followed best practices are maintained and staff are equipped to deliver high-quality patient experiences. This role requires flexibility strong communication skills and the ability to travel to various clinical locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training for CHWs Phone Team Pre-Registration and Check-In staff
- Develop maintain and update training materials job aids and standard work documentation
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions including shadowing and competency validation
- Support implementation of new workflows processes and system updates (e.g. EHR changes)
- Perform routine audits to ensure compliance with established workflows and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with site leadership to address performance gaps and provide targeted retraining or coaching
- Serve as a subject matter resource for front-end operations and patient access workflows
- Assist with rollout of organizational initiatives and ensure consistency across departments and locations
- Track training completion and maintain accurate documentation of staff competencies
- Travel to clinic sites as needed to support training implementation and operational needs
- Provide support to monitoring and evaluation efforts related to patient satisfaction patient retention and other patient engagement KPIs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Communications Business Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred. Work experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare operations patient access or related field preferred.
