Manager Marketing Strategy (EMEA Clinical Assessments)
Lead the go-to-market strategy across EMEA for Pearsons Clinical Assessments portfolio driving high-impact campaigns that build market presence and deliver measurable growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven marketing leader to own the marketing strategy for Pearsons Clinical Assessments markets across EMEA.
This role is responsible for shaping regional positioning driving integrated campaigns and delivering revenue-generating initiatives across the UK Benelux France Germany Spain and the Nordic region.
You will lead a team of marketing specialists working closely with Sales Product Clinical SMEs and global marketing teams to translate market insights into impactful strategies campaigns and thought leadership that drive adoption engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Own the overall marketing strategy and vision for EMEA Clinical Assessments markets
- Drive market presence brand positioning and revenue growth across multiple European regions
- Align regional strategies with global priorities and business objectives
- Lead annual and quarterly planning including campaign roadmaps and market prioritisation
Integrated Campaign Development & Execution
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated multi-channel campaigns (digital paid media social email content and events)
- Lead marketing strategy for key product portfolios and thought leadership initiatives
- Own and support Spains marketing execution in collaboration with local and partner teams
- Ensure campaigns reflect evidence-based messaging and reinforce Pearsons position as a trusted leader in clinical assessment
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead mentor and develop a team of marketing specialists
- Partner closely with Sales Product Research Clinical Consultants and global marketing teams
- Drive alignment across functions to ensure consistent messaging and seamless execution
Market & Customer Insight
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity across EMEA
- Translate insights into differentiated positioning and strategic opportunities
- Champion deep understanding of diverse clinician audiences across regions
Thought Leadership & Brand Growth
- Lead the development of thought leadership campaigns webinars and clinical content
- Partner with internal experts and external clinicians to elevate credibility and engagement
- Strengthen Pearsons reputation for assessment accuracy digital innovation and training excellence
Performance & Optimisation
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks for campaigns
- Analyse performance data to optimise ROI conversion and engagement
- Use insights to inform future planning investment and market focus
Skills & Experience
- 7 years of marketing experience including people leadership
- Proven experience owning go-to-market strategy and delivering integrated campaigns tied to revenue and growth
- Strong background in B2B or B2B2C marketing (healthcare clinical education edtech or regulated industries preferred)
- Experience working across multiple countries or regions (EMEA experience highly desirable)
- Fluent in English and one additional European language (e.g. Spanish French German Dutch or Nordic languages)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance
- Experience with marketing technology and analytics tools (e.g. GA4 Salesforce Tableau or similar)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities in a matrixed environment
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
Location & Working Pattern
- EMEA-based (Remote / hybrid depending on location)
- Travel across the region may be required
