Key Responsibilities Include:

• Review evaluate and maintain privilege criteria for medical and associate staff in collaboration with clinical leaders and Medical Staff leadership.

• Analyze provider privilege requests to ensure alignment with approved criteria training experience and competency requirements.

• Support the development revision and standardization of privilege delineation forms and criteria across specialties.

• Ensure privileging processes comply with regulatory accrediting and organizational standards (e.g. Joint Commission CMS state regulations).

• Respond to inquiries from providers and medical staff leadership regarding privilege criteria and requirements.

• Monitor and document regulatory changes that may impact privileging standards and recommend updates as appropriate.

• Maintain accurate documentation and auditready records related to privilege criteria and approvals.

• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency consistency and transparency in privileging workflows.

Whats Available:

• Full time 1.0 FTE

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

• Located at our Front Street Office in La Crosse WI; Hybrid eligible but will need to be willing to work onsite as needed

• Starting pay of $52500 and up based on your years of experience.
  

What Youll Need:

• Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

• 5 years of healthcare legal or business experience

• Strong Knowledge of Medical Staff regulations department specific privilege delineation

• Strong understanding of accreditation and regulatory standards

• License/ Certification: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) Required upon hire

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail

• Effective written and verbal communication with clinical leadership
