Job Description

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Manager: AI Infrastructure Architecture to drive the design implementation and optimisation of a high-performance AI ecosystem. This role is recruited on behalf of a client and will suit a forward-thinking leader who thrives in building scalable secure and cost-efficient AI infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling seamless AI model deployment training and operationalisation while aligning infrastructure strategy with evolving business demands.

Responsibilities:

• The role is responsible for developing and executing a scalable AI infrastructure strategy aligned with enterprise digital transformation goals.
• This includes architecting hybrid AI environments implementing infrastructure for model training and inferencing and ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• The incumbent will design automated MLOps pipelines deploy Infrastructure as Code solutions and optimise high-performance computing environments across GPU CPU and storage resources.
• Additionally the role will oversee Kubernetes-based orchestration enhance AI data pipelines for real-time analytics and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.
• A strong focus will be placed on AI security governance compliance and cost optimisation alongside continuous monitoring and performance tuning of AI systems.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Infrastructure Engineering or a related field is required with cloud and DevOps certifications considered advantageous.
• The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure cloud computing or AI systems architecture with proven expertise in designing and scaling AI infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Strong technical skills in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) Kubernetes containerisation Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible) and MLOps are essential.
• Experience in AI workload optimisation security governance and cost efficiency strategies is critical along with the ability to drive innovation and stay ahead of emerging technologies.
