Learning and Development Manager

Job Description
A leading organisation is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to design and implement an integrated L&D strategy that aligns with business objectives compliance requirements and transformation goals. Acting as the appointed SDF this role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with CHIETA managing Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and driving B-BBEE skills development while fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the SDF and ensure full compliance with CHIETA requirements including WSP and annual training submissions
- Lead B-BBEE skills development initiatives including audits reporting and verification processes
- Manage and develop talent pipelines including graduates learners and apprentices
- Oversee learning programmes service providers and training effectiveness
- Maintain workplace accreditation and manage discretionary and mandatory grants
- Monitor budgets training spend and tax rebates
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple sites and unions
- Ensure accurate reporting on training learnerships study assistance and overall L&D performance
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelors degree
- Proven experience as an SDF with a strong track record working with CHIETA
- 815 years experience in Learning and Development
- Strong data analytics and reporting capability
- Excellent organisational administrative and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complexity drive strategy and deliver results
- Assessor and Moderator certification advantageous
