Middle School Religion Teacher (6th8th Grade)St. Alphonsus Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled knowledgeable and enthusiastic Middle School Religion Teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming school year. Rooted in the mission of St. Alphonsus we are committed to forming students spiritually academically physically and culturally in an environment of academic excellence. We are looking for an educator who will joyfully model the Catholic faith foster a deeper understanding of Church teachings and guide students in their personal relationship with ResponsibilitiesThe Middle School Religion Teacher will:Create a positive classroom environment that supports both faith formation and academic religion curriculum aligned with the Diocese of Baton Rouge including Scripture Church teachings sacraments and moral students to live out their faith through prayer service and participation in the sacramental life of the Catholic values across lessons and support students in developing a strong moral with middle school teachers support staff and administration to support the whole regularly with families regarding student progress expectations and classroom in school liturgies retreats faith formation opportunities and school community all policies and expectations of St. Alphonsus Catholic School and the Diocese of Baton candidates will:Hold a Bachelors degree; teaching certification is experience teaching middle school coursework in Religious Education or a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic strong classroom management communication and collaboration ProcessPlease submit a cover letter and resume with one professional and one personal reference to: Kristy Monsour
