Purpose of position:
Do you want to apply your expertise within thermal and fluid dynamics to solve complex engineering challenges
At KK Group Cooling you will work hands-on with simulation testing and product development turning theoretical insights into robust high-performance cooling solutions used by leading OEMs in the energy industry.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across R&D engineering and production and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within existing technologies. At the same time you will have the opportunity to influence how future cooling solutions are designed combining technical depth with practical impact.
This is a role for an engineer who is motivated by solving complex problems working hands-on with both simulation and testing and creating tangible value through technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize thermal and fluid-based solutions for power electronics and energy systems
- Drive product development from concept phase to implementation and validation
- Perform CFD and FEA simulations to support design decisions and improve performance
- Plan and execute testing including measurement of temperature flow and pressure
- Analyze data and translate findings into concrete design improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D engineering and production
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of existing technologies and solutions
- Support documentation validation and quality assurance processes
Our Requirements
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering Thermal Engineering Fluid Dynamics or similar
- Strong flair for product development and technical design
- Proven ability to optimize existing solutions as well as develop new concepts from scratch
- Solid competencies within thermal and fluid dynamics
- Experience with CFD and FEA simulations
- Hands-on experience with testing and measurement of temperature flow and pressure
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel approx. 2025 days per year
- Structured analytical and result-oriented approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams
