Job Description

The primary responsibilities during the fellowship will include:

a) provision of clinical services in the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (e.g. autism spectrum disorder evaluation psychoeducational evaluation and/or infant/toddler evaluation) and

b) participation in autism-related research. Instruction of medical students in the College of Medicine (COM) Year One Fundamentals of Patient Care (FPC) Course may also be available.

Attendance at the division bi-monthly didactics and relevant grand rounds in Psychiatry and Pediatrics also will be expected.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Doctorate degree in Psychology.

(Infrequent) Ability to lift and carry objects up to 15 lbs. a distance of five (5) floors and to outlying buildings. (Frequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision corrected. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. (Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities.
