Nursery Chef - 40 hours per weekMonday to Friday
Looking for a role where your cooking directly supports childrens development This Nursery Chef position is based in a large well-established nursery. Youll work alongside a Chef Assistant preparing balanced meals that meet the nutritional needs of young children with a strong focus on allergens and dietary requirements.

What youll need
- Proven experience as a Chef ideally within a nursery or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of child nutrition and allergen management
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen
What youll do
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children in line with dietary guidelines
- Plan menus that meet nutritional standards and accommodate allergies
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Manage stock ordering and food storage effectively
- Work closely with the Chef Assistant to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Keep accurate records in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
