Fairmont Family Dentistry a Cherry Tree Dental office is seeking a Temporary Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and help maintain high-quality patient care during a short-term staffing need. This role is ideal for a reliable patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative dental practice.

What youll do:

As a Dental Assistant you will workto enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As aDental Assistant you will:

• Prepares sterilizes disinfects and maintains dental equipment instruments and supplies
• Collects and records patient health historiesand x-rays
• Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures
• Completes charting of treatment information in the patients dental notes from the doctor as directed
• Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies
• Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient
• Maintains infection control procedures patient privacy and professional interactions with patients and staff
• Assist administrative team with customer service functions

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program
• Current State of Minnesota Dental Assistant License
• Previous customer service or office experience
• Proficiency indental terminology and dental software for charting treatment planning clinical notes etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Foster a positive attitude and be a team player

Patient Care Hours:

Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
