As a Security Officer Patrol Examiner in Sterling VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access awareness throughout the property. This role calls for strong communication professionalism and customer service along with a team-focused mindset. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing information through appropriate reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility lobby areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access support visitor processing and/or report suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Support closing and opening routines observe alarms and access points and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when circumstances require additional assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
