Basic Requirements:
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Able to communicate clearly
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Florida drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Animal care experience (domestic or exotic) preferred
- Commercial food preparation experience welcomed
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare diets for animal collection
- Process fruits and vegetables
- Handle meat fish rodents invertebrates and other food items
- Wash and sanitize containers surfaces and equipment
- Safely use kitchen utensils and appliances
- Determine measurements of weight and volume
- Keep storage and prep areas clean and orderly
- Assist with physical inventory and ordering
- Moderate to heavy lifting of supplies and equipment multiple times per day
- Coral reef tank general maintenance and feeding inhabitants.
- Browse garden maintenance and harvesting.
- The Nutrition Center hours are from 6 am until 2:30 pm 7 days per week. The selected applicant will be scheduled during these hours of operation.
