The successful candidate will be saddled with the following responsibility
- The Youth Innovation and Engagement Officer serves as a vital link between SFHs programmes and the young people they serve ensuring authentic youth voice informs all aspects of A360 programme design implementation and adaptation.
- This position champions youth-driven innovation facilitates meaningful adolescent and youth engagement harnesses data and youth insights for adaptive programming and supports programme evolution toward more responsive youth-centred approaches.
- The role is specifically designed for a young professional (aged 21-24 years)
Requirements
The role will require the following:
- BSc./BA Communication Sociology Economics Health Sciences Social Sciences Humanities
- Training or hands-on experience in a CSO or CBO or Ex-Corps member in who served at a reputable NGO
- Six months to one year post NYSC experience in health or development ecosystem; working in health promotion or youth development space.
Technical:
- Basic knowledge of M&E
- Basic programming skills in youth and community engagement
- ASRH communication demand generation and linkage to care.
- Economic strengthening initiatives
Behavioural:
- Result-oriented
- Good verbal and written communication
- Proactive and resourceful
- Drive for continuous learning
Required Skills:
