Regional Supply Chain Planner

Where Youll Make a Difference

• Ensuring global six-sigma raw material availability to deliver 98% on-time performance to customers via operational buying continuous improvement and vendor management.
• Daily management of demands from 6 manufacturing plants in the Greater Asia region and managing the purchases to replenish stock including monitoring follow-up including inbound deliveries and resolving raw material shortages.
• Liaise with the Local Supply chain planners / site supply chain managers to ensure a smooth and aligned day-to-day planning process.
• Together with the procurement department work with vendors to improve processes and performance. E.g. delivery schedules mutual process improvement.
• Optimization and continuous improvement of raw material availability global inventory days inventory write-off and obsolete/slow moving inventory.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives as the accountable person for Taste raw material planning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/ Academic degree in logistics supply management operations management or relevant discipline
• At least 4 years planning/operational buying experience
• Strong understanding of MRP and / or related applications in managing demand and supply and the material flow through the supply chain.
• Ability to manage expectations in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders from various functions
• Excellent English language skills both verbal and written
