This is a contract position till December 2026.
Job Objectives
- Provide analysis for complex offers for contracts to address customer requirements by meeting profitability guidelines with a manageable risk exposure
- Generate commercial proposals to customers by understanding customers key requirements and criteria in bid process
- Support & enable the Commercial team to take data-driven decisions in order to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to become the Centre of Excellence for all required commercial analytical requirements and drive further development & automation of the same
Job Responsibilities
- Generate commercial proposals for customers by deeply understanding their key requirements and criteria within the bid process.
- Analyze complex offers for contracts ensuring alignment with profitability guidelines and manageable risk exposure.
- Quantify the commercial consequences of meeting unique customer requirements (e.g. multi-year pricing volume discounts and customized logistics).
- Develop robust business cases and present various scenarios to the Approval Committee recommending preferred options and determining negotiation strategies (including pricing bands).
- Use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods for improvement.
- Support the development and production of standardized reports dashboards and presentations.
- Drive the further development and automation of all required commercial analytical processes contributing to the Centre of Excellence.
- Conduct win-loss analyses to continuously sharpen Satairs value proposition in the market.
- Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company
- You will be instrumental in driving improvements and contributing to an efficient and customer-focused Commercial Analytics Team.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business / Finance / Engineering preferred
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to operate extract and analyse data from business tools such as but not limited to CRM and Business Intelligence software (or ability to learn and utilise it quickly)
- Some basic knowledge of VBA Python and other programming language / coding preferred
