Temporary Student AV Operator

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PART-TIME/TEMPORARY POSITION

Student Employment:

1. Recommendation from a District department or campus.
2. At least 14 years old and currently enrolled in a CFISD middle or high school.
3. Ability to speak read and understand the English language.
4. Ability to work on fixed and portable ladders; physically capable of bending stooping continuous standing and walking. Able to work in varied temperatures.
5. Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude maintain confidentiality and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a part-time temporary assignment however the length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs.

PAY:

$15.50/hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Set up operate Berry Center cameras used in event production such as but not limited to CFISD football campus performances banquets graduations and other district events.
2. Set up operate audio visual production equipment and assist in managing live productions for football basketball soccer and all other CFISD sporting events.
3. Assist with the setup and operation of lighting equipment for events at the Berry Center Arena Theatre and Conference Center including proms banquets and theatrical performances.
4. Assist with the setup and operation of audio equipment for events at the Berry Center including homecomings proms arena concerts conference banquets and dance performances.
5. Provide support for all events supported by the Berry Center Audio Visual staff.
6. Set up operate all other audio-visual equipment to be used for event support.
7. Provide quality customer service to the public district staff promoters and event clients.
8. Support clients and assist with the successful operation of technology for all events the Berry Center staff support.
9. Perform all duties assigned by the Berry Center management team and/or CFISD administrative team.
10. Regular and reliable attendance.
11. Have reliable transportation to Berry Center and Pridgeon Stadium

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

• Frequent walking standing climbing and heavy lifting and carrying of approximately50 lbs. Work outside and inside. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures both inside and outside and extended periods of sitting and/or standing and walking up and down bleachers and/or steps.
