Job Summary
Position: EHS CoordinatorLocation: Los Reyes Acaquilpan MexicoPosition ObjectiveThe EHS Coordinator is responsible for developing implementing maintaining and improving the plants safety management system ensuring compliance with applicable Mexican legislation corporate requirements and client ResponsibilitiesUnderstand comply with and ensure compliance with all controlled documentation related to industrial maintain and improve the plants EHS Management promote a culture of safety health and environmental protection at all organizational as the point of contact for regulatory authorities and internal/external the legal requirements matrix updated in matters of risk analyses for machinery areas processes and job and Regulatory Compliance (Mexico)Ensure compliance with applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOMs).Coordinate the Safety and Hygiene Commission in accordance with NOM-019-STPS: integration training inspection programs minutes and follow-up Safety and Occupational HealthEnsure safety compliance in printing machinery and and maintain high-risk work risk analyses by position and with the medical department to monitor employee health in relation to environmental availability use and proper handling of incidents and accidents lead root cause analyses and ensure corrective actions are Response and Civil ProtectionProvide necessary information to the internal program brigade compliance with regulatory Management ISO 14001Implement emergency response and Client StandardsPrepare and follow up on SMETA and client action plans from findings and ensure effective (when applicable)Ensure integration of EHS programs with FDA and GMP requirements especially in:Chemical handlingPersonnel trainingTraining and Safety CultureDevelop and coordinate the annual EHS training staff on risk analysis specific training according to regulatory requirements (warehouse maintenance staff).Ensure issuance and control of DC-3 and raise awareness among contractors and campaigns such as Safety Week and Family Day (support).Indicators Reports and ProjectsEstablish analyze and report safety health and environmental structured EHS projects using formal project management the Leadership Team with assigned strategic progress indicators from safety RequirementsPreferred education: Chemical Engineering Environmental Engineering Industrial 12 years of experience in manufacturing knowledge of:STPS and NOM STPS regulationsISO 14001SMETAFDA (preferred)ISO 9001Leadership and communication to work directly on the production to advanced proficiency in Excel Word and ethical integrity and professional English proficiency.#SV-LV1#appcast
