Reporting to the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research & Innovation Capability the Director Enabling Impact Platform (EIP) Design and Creative Practice-providesstrategic leadership for one of RMITseightEIPsleading the strategic directionoutreachand engagement.
EIPs bring together whole-of-university capability supporting impact-focused research that address complex localnationaland global challenges. The EIPs are increasingly focused on large scale deployment activities.
This position sits within acolleagiateleadership group that workscollaborativelytoenable catalyseand connect linking RMITsdiversemultidisciplinaryexpertisetomeetthe needs of industrygovernmentand community partnersand helpingsupportRMITs broaderimpact focusedresearch and innovation agenda.
EIP Directors aremission-focused service-orientedstrategic enablers who:

To be successful in this role you willhavedeep experience ininterdisciplinary leadership andbring:
A track recordof successfully fostering collaboration with partners and networks to achieve real world impacts and implement impact-driven delivery models within a diverse research environment.
Experience developingleadingor managing complex research initiativesprogramsor strategic portfolios.
A passion for advancing the impact of research and driving continuous culture change.
A strong understanding of research translationacross diverse impact pathways innovationecosystemsand partnership-led delivery models.
Outstanding engagementinfluencingand communication skills.
