Join Clariant to play a key role in keeping our materials intermediates packaging and finished goods accurate and well-managed. Youll post inventory transactions in SAP perform cycle counts investigate discrepancies and ensure all adjustments follow Clariants finance and compliance guidelines. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented organized and proactive with a knack for improving processes and supporting smooth manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% accuracy of raw materials intermediates packaging supplies and finished goods.
- Post all raw material receipts (crude clay sulfuric acid MgO etc.) packaging supply receipts finished goods transfers to 3rd party warehouses or tollers and bulk railcars and bulk truck shipments to customers in SAP.
- Facilitate perform and enter monthly quarterly and annually cycle counts for all site inventory including packaging supplies raw material intermediates and finished goods. Reconcile and investigate any discrepancies during the month with records.
- Post disposal and reclaim activity in SAP for defective or obsolete stock during the month. Ensure all activity has supporting records.
- Document approval from Clariant Finance team for all SAP inventory adjustments prior to making any adjustment transaction. Ensure 100% compliance with Clariant Guidelines.
- Optimize and continually improve SAP inventory management processes. Review all log sheet or digital reporting tools daily to accurately document all production activity in SAP each day.
- Ability to analyze inventory data identify discrepancies and make improvements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma GED
- Minimum 2 yrs experience in similar role in manufacturing warehousing or other industrial environment
- Strong computer skills. MS Office products (Excel).
- SAP or other Inventory Management Systems.
