Job Summary

St. Francis of Assisi School is seeking a dynamic and missiondriven STREAM Teacher for the school year. This educator will lead instruction that integrates Science Technology Religion Engineering the Arts and Mathematics in meaningful handson and engaging ways. The ideal candidate is passionate about inspiring curiosity guiding students through problemsolving challenges and fostering collaboration across grade levels. This role plays a key part in advancing the schools commitment to academic excellence and Catholic identity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging STREAM lessons that promote inquiry creativity and handson exploration across the PK - 8th curriculum.

  • Integrate Catholic teachings and values into classroom activities and projectbased learning.

  • Lead St. Francis participation in the Project Lead the Way (Launch and Gateway) program.

  • Teach Computer Science and AI in multiple grade levels

  • Lead a STEM elective(s).

  • Assist with the school administration/ staff onboarding software/programs SIS Google Workspace Admin Console Apple School Manager and Windows.

  • Support technology & troubleshooting requests from teachers and staff and students

  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity teamwork resilience and innovation.

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support crosscurricular STREAM initiatives.

  • Guide students through engineering design processes technology applications and scientific investigations.

  • Utilize ageappropriate tools materials and technologies to enhance learning experiences.

  • Assess student understanding and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

  • Participate in professional development faculty meetings and school community events.

  • Maintain a safe organized and engaging learning environment.

Job Requirements

  • A practicing Catholic committed to the mission and teachings of the Church.

  • Bachelors degree in Education STEM fields or a related discipline.

  • Experience teaching STREAM STEM or projectbased learning (preferred).

  • Experience in managing various technology tools is preferred.

  • Strong communication collaboration and classroom management skills.

  • Creativity enthusiasm and a passion for handson inquirybased learning.

  • Ability to inspire students and support a culture of innovation and academic excellence.
