The Department of Education is seeking to recruit Substitutes for the Academic School Year . Substitutes are recruited to provide coverage for absences within schools in the Bermuda Public School System.

Certified Teachers

Must hold a minimum of a Bachelors degree along with teacher certification
Must be registered with The Bermuda Educators Council
Must hold a current SCARS certificate

Uncertified Teachers

We also welcome applications from individuals who have an interest in the teaching profession.

Applicants must:

Hold a first degree with strong knowledge in a subject area that would benefit the Bermuda Public School System
Demonstrate a clear commitment to student learning
Must hold a current SCARS certificate
