Job Description:
Core Responsibilities-
Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical services including preventative care chronic disease management (Diabetes Hypertension COPD) and acute illness treatment.
Patient Volume: Clinicians typically see a high volume often reaching 20 25 patients per day including scheduled appointments and walk-ins.
Diagnostic & Treatment:
Review patient medical history allergies and current medications.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (Labs X-rays EKGs).
Administer or prescribe medications according to state and clinic guidelines.

Administrative/Supervisory:
Supervise mid-level providers (NPs and PAs) as needed.
Perform Gold Thread documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure compliance and reimbursement accuracy.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with the Referral Coordinators to ensure patient charts are updated with specialist consults and hospital/ER visit data.
Requirements & Qualifications-
- Education: Medical Degree (MD/DO).
- Licensure: Active California Medical License and DEA Certificate.
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. (If Board Eligible certification is typically required within the first year of employment).
- Compliance: BLS Certification required.
- Skills: Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal skills for diverse patient populations.
