The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role focuses on evaluating diagnosing and treating patients with communication cognitive and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical assessments.
Provide therapy to patients recovering from conditions such as stroke brain injuries spinal cord injuries and neurological disorders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using electronic systems such as Epic Systems.
Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and recovery plans.
Ensure compliance with clinical standards safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Facility Overview
Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with LTACH/ICU capabilities
Approx. 50 staffed beds including rehab and critical care units
Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment
Schedule & Work Environment
Day shifts available (flexible scheduling options within full-time hours)
Some weekend requirements (approximately a few days per month)
No on-call requirement
No floating outside scope of practice
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience (Inpatient Rehab preferred; Acute Care experience a plus)
Active Speech Language Pathologist license (state-specific)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong clinical skills in rehabilitation therapy
