Job Title: Conflicts Research Analyst
Location: Denver CO
Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire(Hybrid)
Compensation: $25.00 $37.50 per hour
About the Role The firm need a Conflicts Research Analyst to join its conflicts and compliance team in Denver. This role plays a critical part in supporting attorneys by identifying potential conflicts of interest ensuring compliance with legal ethics rules and maintaining the integrity of the firms conflicts database.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct conflict checks for new matters and lateral hires using Intapp or similar systems
- Develop and execute effective search strategies; analyze and summarize results for attorneys and Conflicts Counsel
- Perform corporate and entity research to identify relationships affiliations and potential risks
- Draft engagement letters conflict waivers and ethical screen memorandums
- Collaborate with attorneys Conflicts Counsel and General Counsel to resolve conflict issues
- Maintain update and reconcile conflicts database records including data cleanup initiatives
- Provide high-level research and analytical support to legal teams and administrative staff
- Respond to time-sensitive requests including occasional after-hours support
Required Qualifications - 2-4 years of conflicts research experience within a mid-to-large law firm
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of legal ethics and professional responsibility rules
- Hands-on experience with conflict checks legal intake or corporate research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail analytical thinking and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work onsite/hybrid in Denver CO
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Intapp or similar conflicts management software
- Experience drafting legal documentation (engagement letters waivers ethical screens)
- Exposure to large-scale data cleanup or database management
- Strong legal writing and reporting skills
