TITLE: DAY-TO-DAY SUBSTITUTES FOR SUMMER ENRICHMENT FOR ENGLISH LEARNERS PROGRAM (GR K-4)

POSITION SUMMARY:This program is designed to involve Englishlearner studentsin opportunitiesthat allow them to continue their language acquisition in Englishthroughout the summer months and to prevent languageloss. The program is meant to be summer camp in style and offer a widevariety of hands-on activities (especially focused in the areas of the arts and science) read alouds outdoorplay and lots of opportunitiesfor conversation in the instancethat the usual teacheris unexpectedlyabsent we are looking for possiblesubstitutes. Substitutes will be hired on an as-needed basis.

PROGRAM DATES: July 6th - August6th 2026 (5 weeks)

PROGRAM TIMES AND LOCATIONS:

Lower Elementary Summer Program (group of about 10-12 students)

Tuesday - Thursday 8:00am - 12:00pm at DiPietro Elementary School

Upper Elementary Summer Program (group of about 10-12 students)

Monday - Wednesday 9:00am - 1:00pm at DiPietro Elementary School

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Experience teachingor assisting students in the required grade level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. MA Educator License (elementary) plus SEI Endorsement and/or ESL Licensure(elementary) preferred

SALARY: $45 per hour subject to grant funding

Timesheets will be sent prior to the program start date via email

REPORTS TO: EL Director
