Pay Range: $60k$70k (based on experience)
In this Compliance Safety and Health Specialist role you will:
Compliance Management:
- Develop implement and monitor compliance programs aligned with federal state and local regulations
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify risks and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance policies and regulatory updates
- Maintain accurate compliance records and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies
- Review and update company policies to reflect current laws and industry standards
- Ensure all required licensure and certifications remain current and compliant
- Support legal risk and compliance initiatives as assigned
Safety & Health Management:
- Develop and implement safety policies programs and training to promote a safe work environment
- Conduct safety audits and represent the organization during inspections and regulatory reviews
- Monitor safety trends and generate reports to guide improvements and risk mitigation efforts
- Partner with leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws and regulations
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
All you need is:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Compliance Health Sciences Healthcare Administration or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance safety or a related field
- Working knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and safety standards
- Current and valid Hawaii State Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with ongoing testing requirements
- Strong attention to detail critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Bonus points if youve got:
- Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or safety-related certification (e.g. OSHA CSP)
- Experience in a clinical laboratory or healthcare operations environment
- Background in risk management legal compliance or regulatory affairs
