We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Software Engineering Specialist
In this role you will
- Responsible for ensuring the reliability performance and scalability of our systems
- Automate processes and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Ensure the reliability availability and performance of the infrastructure platform.
- Collaborate in diagnosing and resolving Kafka infrastructure issues
- Support the deployment configuration and maintenance of Kafka platform.
- Troubleshoot incidents perform root cause analysis and implement reliability improvements.
To be successful you will
- Over all 10 years of experience and Preferably 7-10 years of experience working on Kafka.
- Familiarity with Kafka concepts and operations
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration
- Experience in Kubernetes is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code.Proficiency in observability and logging tools.
- Experience with Unix administration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team. Weekend support required
