About this role:

The Lafayette Manufacturing Center is seeking an HR Specialist to provide onsite coordination and administrative support for local activities including planning scheduling and communicating talent development programs as well as first level HR support for Manufacturing employees. This position will ensure proper maintenance of training documentation support audits and compile site-level metrics as needed. The ideal candidateis eager to start their career in HR and brings a continuous improvement mindset strong communication skills exceptional attention to detail and a highly organized approach to work.

Job Duties

• Under general supervision supports the effective operation and improvement of one or more HR processes.
• Collaborates with stakeholders creates tools and resources and executes basic programs and projects.
• Develops subject matter expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Compensation Benefits International HR/Global Mobility Employee Relations Learning and Development Talent Acquisition HR Information Systems or HR Operations.
• Supports the efficient delivery of processes programs and policies through the application of specialized knowledge and skills analysis and business acumen.
• Assists with HR data reporting and analysis used to determine meaningful recommendations and actions to improve overall HR service delivery.
• May advise HR and business leaders across the organization on best practices.

Qualifications

• Requires an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or a similar discipline.
• Masters degree and Professional HR Certification preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• This position will report onsite at the Lafayette Manufacturing Center in Lafayette LA.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience (2) additional job requirements and/or (3) business needs.
