The Data Ops Engineer is responsible for data ingestion transformation curation and reliability across Sentinel Defender Graph and ADLS. This role ensures data is timely correct and analytics-ready for AI agents.

What will your job look like

Manage Sentinel connectors Defender XDR ingestion Graph/Policy/Purview pipelines.
Build and maintain Data Collection Rules for Standard & Auxiliary tables.
Develop RAW CURATED Delta pipelines in ADLS; manage schema evolution.
Build and govern curated security tables (vulnerabilities policy states TI normalization).
Maintain Aux tables for enrichment (AssetOwnerCriticality control catalogs).
Manage metadata and lineage using Purview (optional).
Build and refresh RAG indexing pipelines for AI Search.
Monitor ingestion SLAs and resolve pipeline failures

All you need is...

Required Skills
Strong Azure Data Engineering background.
Experience with DCR Law ingestion Auxiliary tables.
Databricks/Spark/Synapse experience for Delta Lake pipelines.
Understanding of security data schemas: incidents alerts timelines logs.
Preferred
Experience with Defender for Cloud Defender TI Azure Policy Insights.
