Job Summary
Job Description
Housekeepers at the Center for the Arts must work independently and as a part of a team to maintain the cleanliness of the building and grounds and assure an aesthetically pleasing clean sanitary and safe environment in a variety of spaces including lobbies theater and other public event areas performance support areas restrooms offices classrooms and research studios. They provide routine and urgent need services before during and after events and work a varying schedule including day evening and weekend hours.
Duties include floor cleaning dusting mopping sweeping vacuuming window cleaning gathering and removing trash and leaf blowing. Housekeepers are expected to safely and responsibly operate powered and manual equipment follow health and safety procedures monitor supplies and inventory and report needed building repairs damages and unsafe conditions.

Knowledge of or the ability to learn commercial/industrial cleaning methods and safety protocols.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work a varying schedule.
