Junior Cost Controller

Your role

• Develop implement and maintain project controls systems procedures and standards to ensure effective cost management.
• Coordinate the implementation of the EcoSys cost control tool including user training and ongoing support.
• Track analyze and report project expenditures against budgets and forecasts including preparation of monthly cost reports variance analyses and dashboards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project budgets actual costs forecasts accruals and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with project managers discipline leads and procurement teams to update forecasts evaluate change orders and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support contract management and invoicing processes by reviewing invoices monitoring accruals and providing cost-related insights.
• Participate in project meetings to provide project controls updates and ensure compliance with internal project controls standards.

About you

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in cost control preferably in major EPCM projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls cost allocation and financial risk management.
• Knowledge of Excel Aconex Cost Primavera P6 Power BI .
• Proficiency in project controls software in Ecosys.
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment.
