Job Summary
Were looking for a Cyber Data & Catastrophe Analyst to join a specialist Cyber Centre of Excellence (CCoE) supporting the Groups cyber underwriting strategy risk appetite and accumulation control across global business lines.
Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) is working in partnership to support the recruitment for Tokio Marine Holdings our group head office. This role will be employed by TMK and seconded to Tokio Marine Holdings offering unique Grouplevel exposure within a global insurance organisation.
Reporting to the Senior Cyber Actuary this is a highly analytical role at the intersection of cyber risk data catastrophe modelling and underwriting strategy offering exposure to senior stakeholders and cuttingedge cyber risk frameworks. Youll play a key role in helping the Group understand quantify and manage cyber risk. Working closely with cyber actuaries underwriters and data specialists youll analyse exposure and claims data develop scenarios and support cyber accumulation control across both affirmative and nonaffirmative cyber coverages.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead the Cyber breakdown process collecting validating analysing and reporting exposure and performance data from Group companies
Produce highquality reports including PDF reports and Power BI dashboards
Cleanse and process exposure and claims data into SQL databases
Support the enhancement of the Groups cyber accumulation control framework
Maintain and challenge cyber scenarios using alternative quantification methods including cyber vendor models
Calculate PML figures to help shape Grouplevel cyber risk appetite
Support thirdparty cyber model validation and engage with the vendor modelling landscape
Communicate the Groups Cyber View of Risk to senior stakeholders clearly explaining uncertainty while maintaining credibility
Contribute to future data development initiatives including textual analysis and machine learning
Stay up to date with developments in cyber security and cyber risk research
What Were Looking For
Essential experience and knowledge:
Background in catastrophe modelling exposure management or cyber risk analytics
Experience building cyber scenarios including narrative development and loss calculations
Advanced Excel skills
Strong capability in R or Python
Comfortable working with statistics and probability theory
Confident communicating technical concepts to nontechnical audiences
Desirable:
Masters degree (or higher) in a mathematical / data science related discipline and/or cyber insurance experience
Formal cyber security qualifications or training
Understanding of the cyber model ecosystem
