Mission

The purpose of the Video Editor Photo Editor role is to transform raw media into polished high-end visual content that aligns with our creative vision and showcases properties at their highest potential. Video editing is the primary focus of this role with photo editing required to support production workflow and maintain fast delivery times.

This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional media that helps real estate listings stand out and perform.

Workload Expectations

• Edit 15 property videos per day
• Support photo editing workflow as needed
• Deliver 2030 properties per week
• Maintain 12 day turnaround times
• Full-time position with consistent weekly workflow

Technical Requirements (Required)

• Final Cut Pro Advanced proficiency (Required)
• Motion VFX Graphics and template use
• Dropbox File management and organization
• Photo editing experience required (Lightroom Photoshop or similar software)
• Experience editing real estate video content preferred
• Strong understanding of horizontal and vertical video formats
• Ability to maintain organized file workflows

Key Responsibilities

Property Video Editing (Primary Role)

• Edit main property tour videos
• Deliver multiple formats (horizontal vertical)
• Apply storytelling techniques that highlight property features
• Color grade and enhance footage to match brand standards
• Add graphics transitions and motion elements
• Ensure smooth pacing and strong visual storytelling

Photo Editing (Required Secondary Role)

• Edit real estate property photos as needed
• Perform color correction and exposure balancing
• Ensure consistent quality across photo galleries
• Follow brand editing standards and presets
• Support team workflow to maintain fast delivery timelines

Social Media Content Creation

• Create engaging vertical video content
• Edit short-form content for Inhouse Media marketing
• Support real estate clients with social-ready video edits
• Optimize videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels TikTok and YouTube Shorts

Graphics & Effects

• Use Motion VFX templates
• Add graphics transitions and visual enhancements
• Maintain brand consistency across projects

Quality & Delivery

• Meet 12 day turnaround deadlines
• Follow established brand style templates
• Maintain high-end real estate media standards
• Bring fresh ideas and stay current with editing trends
• Ensure both photo and video deliverables meet quality standards

Collaboration & Feedback

• Provide feedback to Operations Manager regarding footage quality
• Suggest improvements for composition and shooting workflow
• Collaborate with media pros to improve efficiency and output quality

Bonus Skills (Highly Valued)

Social media management experience is a strong plus. Candidates with this experience may also assist with:

• Creating and posting Instagram Reels and social media content
• Writing basic captions
• Scheduling posts across social platforms
• Identifying trending audio and video styles
• Supporting growth of Inhouse Medias social presence
