Executive Office Specialist

Job Summary
Support the executive team by planning organizing and directing various activities and events. Perform administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations. Provides project and administrative support to executive team members and their divisions hospital committees and medical staff. Assist with applicable policy management meeting coordination and communication materials.
Education and Training
- Associates degree or college level coursework in business required.
- Experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Experience
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible confidential administrative experience supporting at the executive level.
- Proven advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications required; Visio and Publisher experience preferred.
- Passage of Microsoft Excel Intermediate skills test required.
Other Skills Competencies and Qualifications
- Typing proficiency of 50 wpm with accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently on a variety of tasks.
- Maintain flexibility as different projects and tasks develop.
- Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities.
- Ability to acquire skill in the utilization of additional personal computer applications as required by position.
- Interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact in person over the telephone and in written communication.
- Ability to take and transcribe meeting minutes.
- Must maintain confidentiality of patient employee or financial records.
- Ability to perform work in a team environment.
