1. Role Overview The Lead AMR Development will be responsible for end-to-end design development validation and deployment of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems. The role involves defining system architecture leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring seamless integration of hardware software and control systems. The candidate will drive development from concept to production for industrial and commercial robotics applications.
2. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end development of AMR systems from concept architecture and design to testing and deployment
- Define system architecture including sensors control systems power management and communication interfaces
- Drive development of perception modules (LiDAR cameras ultrasonic) SLAM localization and navigation systems
- Oversee motion planning obstacle avoidance and control algorithms implementation
- Lead embedded software development and integration with hardware systems
- Collaborate with mechanical electrical and software teams for system-level integration
- Define and execute validation strategies for navigation accuracy payload handling and system performance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards such as ISO 3691-4 and CE requirements
- Support prototyping pilot deployments and production release activities
- Mentor and guide cross-functional engineering teams
- Drive performance optimization and scalability of AMR solutions
- Track emerging technologies in robotics AI and sensor fusion for product enhancement
3. Required Qualifications - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Mechatronics Robotics or related field
- 7 10 years of product development experience
- Minimum 5 years in autonomous systems / robotics development
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Proven track record of delivering systems from concept to production
