Job Summary


This is an HR Business Partner role covering business partnering support for Head Office Customer
Excellence Centre Sales & Service for Central and South for supporting identified region/s. This role
will also lead the Engagement Committee for HO and drive engagement actions in Chennai. It currently will
report to the Entity Head Human Resources for the country and is based in Chennai. Span of control:
around 450 head count (HO 200 CEC 40 Field and back office 210). Additionally the role has an
opportunity to take up leadership on critical India level projects as required from time to time.
Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with the business leaders to identify talent requirements plan for talent development productivity
and retention
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team for recruitment needs and ensure healthy TAT is maintained for
on roll hirings
HR induction of all new joiners in scope
Support business on Talent Acquisition actions in partnership with Hiring Manager for hiring of outsourced
resources either as CIEL resources or NAPs based on HC addition management of HR
Operations actions for outsourced hirings in line with approved internal processes.
HC management for respective perimeter
Lead regular HR cycles (performance management C&B planning etc.) and deliver on key HR metrics
for the region with respect to recruitment diversity recruitment training engagement employee life
cycle management etc. by partnering with the respective CoEs in Legrand
Be an enabler for a culture that is in line with the Organization's practices by the advocacy of the same to
the employees as well as stakeholders; deploy culture building initiatives and implement a high-
performance culture
Analyze trends in employee turnover employee engagement surveys performance management pulse
sessions and recommend interventions backed by data. Stronghold on data providing insights and
recommendations
The incumbent should be able to lead in an informal 'roll up your sleeves and get it done' manner that is
perceived to be people centric effective and marked by a high level of energy
Implement and communicate the new policies procedures and programs in support of Business
Be the first point of contact for all employee grievances and conduct necessary investigations
The role needs to work out of HO for 2 days CEC office for 1 day and Service office for 1 day with hybrid
working of 1 day in the week in addition to the odd Saturday working from home. There could be 2-3
days travel to Regional / Branch offices every quarter based on business need.
