Job Summary: This position is dedicated to serve the administrative needs of the AGTS Global Missions Department (GMD).

Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Serve as the Administrative Assistant to the chair of the Global Missions Department performing administrative duties including calendar management email and mail correspondence filing office organization and hospitality. MS 1234
- Assist in scheduling committee meetings reserving rooms recording minutes and tracking action items with the IDS Director and the GMD committee.MS 1234
- Manage the processing of Directed Research and Doctoral Readings graduate courses.MS 1234
- Coordinate the Summer Institutes (Islamic Studies Buddhist Studies Hindu Studies etc.). Coordinate advertising and promotional campaigns with the EU Marketing Department. Assist with the planning of the courses and faculty for these institutes. Assist participants and students with all facets of registration and campus orientation. Track student enrollment for each program. Monitor budgets.MS 1234
Operations Management
- Track student enrollment for each module.MS 1234
- Email students to remind them to register for their courses. MS 1234
- Plan catering for breaks and lunches with Sodexo Services and manage the payment of all Sodexo invoices related to IDS events.MS 1234
- Partner closely with the Evangel University Business and Finance Office to develop annual budgets for the IDS MAIS and Summer Institute programs. Manage Central Bank Mastercard transactions oversee budgets purchase supplies and process payments.MS 1234
- Assist professors with classroom setup technical issues and in person use of Evangel systems.MS 1234
- Assist professors with Canvas course creation and management.MS 1234
- Assist with the adaptation of syllabi to current templates.MS 1234
- Collaborate with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and procure hiring documentation in the approval process for adjunct faculty.MS 1234
- Track and order textbooks each semester for adjuncts and any professors who request assistance.MS 1234
- Process all payments related to Directed Research Doctoral Readings Project Advisors Dissertation/Project edits.MS 1234
- Maintain and process all adjunct faculty pay not on payroll.MS 1234
- Assist the Department Chair with course scheduling facilitating testing coordinating Value Added Week and planning for residency weeks/modules. MS 1234
- Oversee and coordinate the IDS investiture. Assist with AGTS Baccalaureate and Commencement activities.MS 1234
- Coordinate the publishing and printing of IDS dissertations and projects including communication with the copy editor performing the IDS ETD Administrator role duties on ProQuest and ordering/tracking printed copies of final dissertations/projects.MS 1234
- Assist the IDS Program Director with the planning and preparation of the Hogan Lecture Series.MS 1234
- Other duties as assigned by the IDS Director.MS 1234
Relationship Management/Communication
- Serve as the liaison with the Registrars Office and Admissions Office.MS 1234
AGTS/EISP Liaison:
- Work with EU registration to assist in academically registering EISP students. Input course schedules and communicate with EU offices to officially register students in the EISP
- Work with EU financial office to assist with financially registering EISP students if necessary
- Maintain and process all EISP adjunct faculty hiring processes through EU Offices.
- Work as a liaison to solve student issues between EU and the EISP program
- Coordinate with Dr. McAteer for issues between MAIS and EISP program
- Manage and document new student applicants in Salesforce. Liaison between admissions and the EISP to refer students who apply through AGTS to the EISP. Communicate with EU Offices to make them official in the SIS
- Answer student questions in regard to EU matters when appropriate
- Work with students when they reach graduation phase to coordinate graduation events
- As necessary communicate the grades submitted by the EISP
- Communicate between the EISP office and the EU Registrar office to process course incompletes and extensions
- Keep and maintain files related to the EISP Program for accreditation purposes

- Coordination and organization skills with respect to arranging a schedule for the course modules.
- Administrative and computer skills including knowledge of the CANVAS LMS.
- Long-range planning skills for scheduling both IDS and MAIS courses.
- Verbal and written communication skillsespecially in regard to maintaining positive relationships between students faculty and administration.
