Job Summary

Title: Law Enforcement Specialist
Type: Full-Time

Location: Quantico Virginia

Position Overview

The Law Enforcement Specialist provides operational law enforcement counterterrorism and security support to the Identity Matching Engine for Security and Analysis (IMESA) Terrorist Screening and Vetting (TSV) mission. This role supports by executing daily mission activities related to terrorist screening alerts identity intelligence and DoD installation access determinations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily review analysis and monitoring of terrorist screening database alerts in support of the IMESA TSV mission.
Utilize law enforcement and Intelligence Community databases to assess derogatory information related to DoD affiliated personnel and other relevant populations.
Support the development staffing and implementation of counterterrorism (CT) law enforcement (LE) and security policies administered by the IMESA TSV Team.
Interface with personnel Military Criminal Investigative Organizations the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and the FBI Terrorist Screening Center (TSC).
Manage assigned taskings and support the Multiple Threat Alert Center (MTAC) mission.
Attend required meetings and prepare written reports metrics and meeting summaries.
Provide operational recommendations supporting DoD physical security personnel security insider threat and installation access programs.
Perform all duties in compliance with DoD security policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in DoD Military Department counterterrorism law enforcement or security operations.
At least five (5) years of experience using law enforcement and Intelligence Community databases.
At least five (5) years of experience reviewing terrorist screening or watchlist alerts and recommending appropriate actions.
Experience working in classified operational environments.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
