ERG is seeking a Space Planner with mid- to senior-level experience to assist with ongoing space management this role you will perform occupancy space planning design and optimization tasks for both existing and planned spaces at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head. NSF Indian Head also needs support for temporary arrangements during renovation projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of surveying developing and updating occupancy space plans and must be motivated with the skills to prioritize perform and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position at NSF Indian Head. Indian Head Maryland is approximately 30 miles from Washington D.C.; 25 miles from Alexandria Virginia; and 60 miles from Fredericksburg Virginia.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and across all departments to define occupancy requirements and space needs
- Conductcomprehensive overviewsandmeticulouslyplan surveys to obtain space plan requirements across all departments
- Translate business requirements into occupancy plans that prioritize safety and operational efficiency
- Work with departments tovalidateheadcount growth projections and programmatic space requirements
- Use CAD/CAFMsoftwareto create test fit layouts for approval
- Provide departments with spatial data in Archibus and recommendations for planning moves blocking seats and assigning seats
- Develop reporting tools to effectively communicate occupancy/vacancy ratios headcount projections and workplace conditions to upper-level managers
- Regularly assess spaceutilization adapting to evolvingneedsand ensuring an agile high-performing environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Abachelors degree andat least7years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in operations/space planning management
- Experience with spaceutilization such asmovesshared workplaces andlaboratory and administrative spaces
- Experience withanalyzingdataandusingMicrosoft PowerPoint to develop presentation materials
- Effective communication skillsincludingforbusiness case validations and presentations for leadership
- Proficiencyin AutoCAD andArchibus
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizenas this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
