About the position

The IT Summer Intern will support the TFS IT Department during hardware maintenance and deployment season. Reporting to the IT Manager the intern will work closely under the daily guidance of the Senior Technologist to ensure all school technology is refreshed functional and ready for the upcoming academic year.

Key Responsabilities

• Device Lifecycle Management: Assist in the formatting imaging and provisioning of student devices including MacBooks iPads and Chromebooks.

• Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of classroom technology equipment

• Inventory & Documentation: Help track hardware serial numbers and update asset management records.

• Deployment Prep: Assist in organizing and staging devices for student distribution.

Le ou la stagiaire dété en TI soutiendra le département TI de TFS durant la période de maintenance et de déploiement du matériel. Relevant du gestionnaire TI le ou la stagiaire travaillera sous la supervision quotidienne du technologue principal afin de sassurer que toutes les technologies de lécole sont mises à jour fonctionnelles et prêtes pour la prochaine année scolaire.

Responsabilités principales:

• Gestion du cycle de vie des appareils : Aider au formatage à limagerie et à la configuration des appareils des élèves incluant les MacBooks iPads et Chromebooks.

• Maintenance du matériel : Effectuer lentretien et le nettoyage de routine des équipements technologiques en classe.

• Inventaire et documentation :
  Contribuer au suivi des numéros de série et à la mise à jour des registres de gestion des actifs.

• Préparation au déploiement : Aider à lorganisation et à la préparation des appareils pour la distribution aux élèves.
