IT Program Manager API Integration
Looking for an opportunity to influence large-scale digital initiatives and bring innovative ideas to life In this hybrid role within the insurance sector you will help coordinate critical technology projects connect business and technical teams and contribute to the successful delivery of solutions that support strategic business goals.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $80-86 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $95-100 per hour.
6-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily stand-ups across API backend and integration teams.
Coordinate with business stakeholders including pricing and analytics teams as well as engineering teams.
Track dependencies across multiple upstream systems including rates adjustments and customer data.
Manage the delivery of API integrations and batch and digital flows.
Identify and mitigate risks related to data availability and system dependencies.
Drive planning execution and release coordination for MVP delivery.
Provide leadership updates on delivery progress and key risks.
What you will need to succeed:
10 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Program Manager in API-driven or integration-heavy environments.
Proven track record delivering multi-system integration projects involving REST APIs and backend services.
Strong stakeholder management experience across business teams including pricing and analytics and engineering teams.
Experience managing data-dependent initiatives including external data feeds lookup tables and analytics outputs.
Ability to manage the full delivery lifecycle including planning execution risk management and release activities.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Experience in banking or mortgage environments involving pricing lending or renewals is considered an asset.
Familiarity with pricing engines and rate calculation systems is considered an asset.
Exposure to Azure and microservices architecture is considered an asset.
Experience delivering lightweight MVP-style solutions rather than large-scale transformations is considered an asset.
Understanding of segmentation or analytics-driven business models is considered an asset.
