Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a dynamic surgical team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced in perioperative nursing and capable of adapting to varying shift schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care
- Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and operating room setup
- Monitor patient status before during and after surgery
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Document patient care accurately and timely
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience working in an Operating Room setting
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Ability to adapt to variable shift schedules
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license California (required)
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
