About the role

We are seeking a Lead BW/4HANA Consultant Procurement to provide technical and functional leadership across procurement materials and services reporting within a largescale SAP transformation environment. This role focuses on ensuring enterprise reporting solutions are welldesigned governed and trusted supporting operational decisionmaking compliance and audit requirements.

Working closely with delivery teams system integrators and business stakeholders you will provide assurance and guidance across BW/4HANAbased reporting solutions in S/4HANA landscapes. This is not a purely handson development role. The emphasis is on solution design oversight data credibility governance and ensuring reporting outcomes remain fit for purpose as platforms and data models evolve.

About you

  • Extensive experience in senior or lead SAP BW/4HANA reporting roles within large complex enterprise environments
  • Strong functional understanding across procurement materials management and services including sourcetocontract procuretopay inventory and supplier data
  • Proven experience delivering or overseeing reporting solutions in S/4HANA environments including ECC to S/4HANA transformations
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and assurance reviewing data models reporting logic metrics and data lineage
  • Deep understanding of procurement and materials metrics with the ability to identify insights that are technically correct but operationally or auditmisleading
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills with experience guiding delivery teams or external partners and influencing outcomes across business and technology

Youll join the Modern ERP Program a multidisciplinary team bringing together technology process data and change specialists to reshape how work happens across Rio Tinto. Were modernising a 20yearold ERP system and redesigning core business processes to improve safety efficiency and ignite innovation.

This work supports our people across global operations to spend less time on transactional tasks and more time on work that really matters. By simplifying and digitising how the organisation runs the Modern ERP Program is creating the foundation for future productivity gains smarter decisionmaking and AIenabled transformation.
